The International Union of Railways (UIC) hosted its 105th General Assembly in Paris, France, bringing together railway leaders from across the globe.
The African Union’s Economic, Social and Cultural Council (ECOSOCC) convened the Second Ordinary Session of its 4th Permanent General Assembly (PGA). As per its statutes, the Second Ordinary session of the General Assembly is also characterized with the mid-term elections of the Standing Committee.

The African Union Leadership Debate of the candidates vying for the position of the AUC Chairperson.
The debate will start at 16:00 and conclude at 18:00 GMT on Friday 13th December 2024. It will be broadcast live to Africa and beyond, from the headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
