Who : The Office of the Legal Counsel, in collaboration with the United Nations
Development Program has the honour to extend an invitation to the launch of
the revamped AU Treaties Webpage, on the margins of the 36th Ordinary
Session of the Executive Council
Background:
Within the project on Acceleration of Ratification / Accession and Implementation of OAU/AU Treaties, which is being implemented by the AU, in collaboration with the UNDP and with financial support from the Government of Sweden, the AU Treaties Webpage has undergone extensive overhaul. The performance of the webpage is ensured in all connection speeds. Specifically, the revamped webpage, which is embedded within the AU website, is now more interactive and displays the status of signature and ratification / accession of OAU/AU treaties for each AU Member State;
Objectives: To officially launch the Webpage to be accessible to the General Public.
