Open Session:  During the opening session of the 24th Ordinary General Assembly of OAFLAD Her Excellency, Amb. Birtukan Ayano, Representative of the First Lay of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia will make welcome remarks followed by opening remarks by Her Excellency Mme. Aissata Issoufou Mahamadou, First Lady of the Republic of Niger.  Mrs. Amira ElFadil Mohamed, Commissioner for Social Affairs of the African Union Commission will present remarks.  
 
The opening session will be marked by Panel on ‘one year since the launch of the OAFLAD Strategic Plan 2019 – 2023: accomplishments, challenges and way forward’ followed by Group Photo of the First Ladies.
