Smuggling of Migrants

When: 3rd Senior Officials Meeting: 2nd – 3rd June 2016
2nd Ministerial Meeting: 4th June 2016

Where: Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt

Who: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt and AUC Department of Social Affairs, supported by IOM and UNHCR.

Participants: H.E. Ambassador Hisham BADR, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Dr. Sidiki Mustapha KALOKO, AUC Commissioner for Social Affairs.

Objectives: Strengthening collaboration and cooperation within the Initiative in dealing with human trafficking and migrant smuggling within and from the Horn of Africa.
