The Press Briefing will have cover The commemoration of ECOSOCC @20 involves reflecting on its 20-year journey and impact, along with an announcement for CSOs to apply for mid-term ECOSOCC elections and details on the rollout of ECOSOCC National Chapters, alongside the introduction of a harmonized and functional peace and security database.
The press briefing provided an update on the post-Malabo development process, highlighted preparations for the Africa Fertilizer and Soil Health (AFSH) Summit, and discussed the implementation of the Nairobi Declaration and COP28 outcomes concerning climate finance for agriculture and green growth in Africa.
