The African Union Commission, in collaboration with The King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue (KAICIID), is pleased to invite the media to cover the African Union Interfaith Dialogue Forum (IFDF) Assembly 2023. This crucial event brings together faith leaders, policymakers, youth representatives, farmers, and stakeholders from across Africa to address the urgent challenges of climate change and food security in the continent.

Event Overview:

The IFDF Assembly 2023, under the theme "Faith in Harvest: Sowing Seeds of Climate Resilience," will focus on the critical role of faith communities in addressing climate change and its impact on food security. The African continent is highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, and these impacts have far-reaching consequences on agriculture and livelihoods. The assembly will explore innovative solutions, share best practices, and advocate for policy changes to create a sustainable and resilient future for Africa.
