In Memoriam - Dr. Rene N'Guettia Kouassi, Director of Economic Affairs, AUC
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. René N’Guettia KOUASSI, Director of Economic Affairs of the African Union Commission, on Sunday, January 13th in Abidjan, Côte D’Ivoire,
With over 20 Years of service at the African Union, Dr. Kouassi led the Economic Affairs Department in the development and implementation of key programmes and reports such as the Pan African Financial Institutions, the African Integration and Development Review, Friday’s of the Commission, the recently launched STATAFRIC and his latest brainchild report “Africa’s Development Dynamics”.
Husband, Father, Grandfather and African Union colleague, Dr. Kouassi will be remembered for his true Pan African Spirit and Values.
On behalf of H.E. the Chairperson and the entire staff of the AU commission, our deepest sympathies and condolences are sent to the bereaved family and the people of Côte d’Ivoire.
