What: The Youth for Peace Africa (Y4P) Program of the Peace and Security Department (PSD) of the African Union Commission (AUC), in collaboration with the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and Ministry of Peace (MoP) of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, will convene a two-day dialogue with youth representatives from Ethiopia and across the region under the theme: “Youth for Peace Ethiopia: Cross regional dialogue and experience sharing workshop,”at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa.

Who: Youth from the different regions and cities of Ethiopia, youth representatives from other African Member States, Civil Society Organizations, relevant partners of Ministry of Peace, IGAD and the AU Commission
Why: Experience sharing between Ethiopian youth and youth from other countries across the Continent who have made remarkable strides in fostering meaningful youth participation in governance, peace and nation-building, as well as build the capacity of young people in peacebuilding efforts to promote durable peace, stability and cohesion in Ethiopia.
