The Information and Communication Directorate (ICD) of the African Union Commission (AUC) hereby announces that the online registration for journalists interested to cover the 5th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union, Regional Economic Communities and Regional Mechanisms scheduled to take place from 13th -16th July 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya has been launched on the AU website.
Journalists are advised to register through the following link: https://accreditation.au.int/en/media-accreditation/5th-mid-year
The meetings are scheduled to take place as follows:

13th – 14th July 2023: 43rd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council

16th July 2023: 5th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union,
Regional Economic Communities and Regional Mechanisms
A media advisory note explaining the arrangements for media coverage of the Mid-Year Coordination Meeting will be posted soon on the AU website.
Journalists will be able to cover all the open sessions physically and/or through the dedicated virtual link, which will be provided in due course.
A detailed agenda and program of the meetings will be made available soon.
