H.E Olusegun Obasanjo, the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has arrived to Addis Abab on 17 June 2021. He is the Head of the African Union Election Observation Mission (AUEOM) to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia’s 21 June 2021 General Elections.

Addressing harmful social norms, behavioural change interventions, continuous data and evidence generation, innovative partnerships, knowledge management and advocacy, as well as, multi-stakeholder and multisectoral approaches have been identified as some of the practical interventions to end all forms of violence against women and girls.

دعا الاتحاد الأفريقي الدول الأعضاء إلى اتخاذ إجراءات حاسمة لتكثيف الجهود للتصدي لفيروس نقص المناعة البشرية بين متعاطي المخدرات وفي السجون حيث لا يزال انتشار فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية أعلى من عامة السكان ، بسبب عدة عوامل مثل وصمة العار والتمييز ونقص الوصول إلى السلع والخدمات مما يؤدي إلى تقاسم الإبر.
