Observer Missions and Organizations

The invitation from the African Union Commission, Deputy Chairperson to Observers to attend the public sessions of the Executive Council and the Assembly, i.e. opening and closing ceremonies, refers.

Observers are requested to complete the attached Accreditation Form (1 + 1) and submit to the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation’s State Protocol Operations Room – email address: ops04@dirco.gov.za together with a copy of the invitation from the African Union Commission and a covering Note Verbale.

Observers will have to present themselves for live accreditation, together with their passports as proof of identity, at one of the two Accreditation Centres, i.e. Dennis Adami Hall, cnr. Soutpansberg and Wren Roads, Rietondale, Pretoria, from 2 June 2015 to 8 June 2015 from 08h30 to 18h00 daily, or the Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel, Sandton, Johannesburg, cnr. Rivonia and West Streets, Sandton from 6 June 2015 to 15 June 2015 from 08h30 to 18h00 daily. The accreditation centre is at the Gautrain Conference Hall on the ground level of the hotel.
