Who: The 3rd Mid-Year Coordination Meeting is organized by the African Union Commissioned (AUC).

 

How:  The 3rd Mid-Year Coordination Meeting will be opened in the presence of Heads of State and Government of the African Union from the RECs and RMs, the leadership of the AU Commission, AU Commissioners, Representatives from the RECs and RMs and AU officials. 

 

The Heads of State and Government will then proceed in close session to consider and adopt the following reports: the Report on the Status of the Regional Integration in Africa, the Report on the Division of Labor between the Member States, African Union Commission and the Regional Economic Communities, and Report on the Covid-19 Pandemic In Africa by H.E. Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa and African Union Champion for The Covid-19 Response. 

 

The Meeting will also consider provisional appointment of the CEO of NEPAD, and consider and adopt draft declaration of the 3rd Mid-Year Coordination Meeting between the African Union, the Regional Economic Communities and the Regional Mechanisms.
