OVERVIEW: A High-level side event under the theme: “Strengthening Public Health Emergency Operations Centres in Africa: A Call to Action”. Happening on the side-lines of the 41st Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union and the 4th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the AU and the Regional Economic Communities (RECs) in Lusaka, Zambia.   Hosted by the Government of Zambia under the auspices of H.E. Hakainde Hichilema, President of the Republic of Zambia, with technical support from the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC).
