H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the AU Commission, was warmly received by H.E. Mr António Luís Santos da Costa, President of the European Council, this afternoon at the EU Offices in Brussels ahead of the 3rd AU-EU Ministerial Meeting taking place tomorrow, Wednesday 21 May.
The two leaders held constructive discussions on the strong AU-EU strategic partnership, now in its 25th year, underscoring shared priorities across peace & security, trade & development, infrastructure, climate resilience, & humanitarian action.
H.E. Mahmoud Youssouf reaffirmed the African Union’s commitment to preserving & deepening multilateral cooperation for mutual benefit & global impact.
