Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, held a bilateral meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on the margins of the high-level summit in Rome, where the Mattei Plan and the EU's Global Gateway were formally aligned with Africa’s development priorities. The Chairperson welcomed Italy’s commitment to a renewed, equitable partnership anchored in Agenda 2063 and commended PM Meloni for her leadership in advancing strategic investments in infrastructure and sustainable growth.
