AUC Chairperson facilitated a meeting between President Teodoro Obiang Nguema (Equatorial Guinea) and President Brice Oligui Nguema (Gabon)

The Chairperson of the AU Commission, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, facilitated a meeting between President Teodoro Obiang Nguema (Equatorial Guinea) and President Brice Oligui Nguema (Gabon), in the presence of representatives of Angola, Burundi and the United Nations.
The meeting aimed to advance implementation of the International Court of Justice ruling of 19 May 2025 related to the border dispute between Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
Both countries agreed to work with the AU toward a peaceful, brotherly resolution.
