AUC Chairperson received the credentials of H.E. Dr. Obaida Eldandarawy, Permanent Representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt
The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, today received the credentials of H.E. Dr. Obaida Eldandarawy, Permanent Representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Ethiopia & the African Union. The Chairperson congratulated Amb. Obaida on his appointment, commended Egypt’s globally respected diplomacy, & lauded its contributions to peace & development in Africa & beyond, including the recent Sharm El Sheikh Peace Meeting on Gaza.
They reaffirmed commitment to strengthen AU–Egypt cooperation on peace & security, restoration of constitutional order in countries in transition, & sustainable financing for African-led peace operations.
