The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, today received Mr. Stephen Bainos Kargbo, @UNIDO Representative to the AU, who presented his letter of accreditation.

The meeting provided an opportunity to reaffirm the AU–UNIDO partnership. The Chairperson underscored industrialisation as a cornerstone of Africa’s transformation, drawing on lessons from Asia and China, and emphasised the need to align Agenda 2063 and Agenda 2030 to accelerate manufacturing-led growth across the continent
