AUC Chairperson received H.E. Dr. Obaida El-Dandarawy, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt
H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission, received H.E. Dr. Obaida El-Dandarawy, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of #Egypt to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia & Permanent Representative to the AU.
Their discussions focused on the state of preparations for the 8th AU Mid-Year Coordination Summit, scheduled to take place from 24 to 27 June 2026 in El Alamein, Egypt, alongside the inaugural Africa Business Summit.
The Chairperson commended Egypt’s leadership & its continued commitment to ensuring effective coordination towards the successful convening of the Summit.
On his part, H.E. Dr. El-Dandarawy conveyed Egypt’s appreciation for the Chairperson’s strong leadership in advancing Africa’s integration agenda & the implementation of Agenda 2063 & reaffirmed his government's full support to his mandate.
