The forum aimed to:
• Provide a dedicated platform for dialogue and exchange on the Summit agenda, enabling stakeholders to jointly reflect on key priorities and emerging issues.
• Strengthen stakeholders’ knowledge and understanding of existing EU–AU policies, frameworks, and cooperation mechanisms to promote informed participation.
• Present Civil Society and Youth recommendations to the EU–AU Summit Plenary, ensuring that their perspectives meaningfully inform high-level decision-making.
• Celebrate 25 years of AU–EU partnership, highlighting key achievements and recognizing the essential contributions of civil society and youth to this collaboration.
• Serve as a foundation for future cooperation and outreach within the Africa–Europe Partnership, fostering sustained engagement and long-term collaboration.

Organize joint AU–EU civil society and youth events to strengthen collaboration, foster mutual learning, and gather insights ahead of AU–EU high-level policy engagements. This includes establishing a formal AU–EU Dialogue Mechanism dedicated to civil society and youth organizations across both continents, ensuring sustained, structured, and inclusive participation in policymaking processes. The initiative will facilitate regular exchanges between civil society, youth representatives, and AU–EU decision-makers to co-develop recommendations and generate innovative, action-oriented solutions to shared regional and global challenges. It will also enhance participants’ understanding of ongoing AU and EU initiatives aimed at reinforcing interregional cooperation, including progress toward the implementation of the AU–EU Joint Vision 2030.
