AUC Chairperson today received the Letters of Credentials of H.E. Ms. Olivia Owen, Ambassador of New Zealand
H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the AU Commission, today received the Letters of Credentials of H.E. Ms. Olivia Owen, Ambassador of New Zealand to Ethiopia & the AU.
He welcomed New Zealand’s long-standing partnership with Africa, notably in areas of technology, the green energy transition, & multilateral cooperation.
Mr. Youssouf & Amb. Owen reaffirmed their strategic partnership on sustainable development, renewable energy, particularly geothermal, peace & security, & technical cooperation.
Ms. Ambassador Owen expressed appreciation for the AU’s partnership & underscored her commitment to advancing the second phase of AU–New Zealand geothermal cooperation.
