What:  The African Union Commission through its Department of Economic Development, Trade, Tourism, Industry and Minerals (ETTIM) is organizing a High-Level Africa Private Sector Forum under the theme: “The Role of the Private Sector in Realizing Africa’s 2063 Development Agenda”
 

When: 13th February 2026 at 14:00Hrs

Where: Multipurpose Hall, AUC Headquarters

Who:

  • African Heads of State and Government
  • Ministers of Finance, Industry, Trade, Energy, Health, and Mining
  • CEOs and Chairpersons of leading African and global companies
  • Institutional and diaspora investors
  • SMEs, startups, women- and youth-led enterprises
  • Development of finance institutions and business associations

Why:

The Forum will bring together political leaders and private sector decision-makers to accelerate Africa’s industrialization and value addition agenda under Agenda 2063. The discussions will focus on mobilizing private investment, strengthening SMEs and startups, and unlocking high-impact value chains across key sectors.
