Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 25th January 2017: The African Union (AU) Executive Council has emphasised the need for Africa to boost investment in Africa’s youth by promoting transformative and inclusive development agendas aimed at recognising the efforts by the youth in entrepreneurship and innovation.
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 22nd – 23rd January 2017:- The 29th session of the Gender is My Agenda (GIMAC) Pre-Summit consultative meeting kicked off, Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 at the United Nations Economic Commission of Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, under the theme “Gender Inclusive Youth Empowerment and Development for a Peaceful and Prosperous Africa,” which is in sync with African Union theme of “Harnessing The Demographic Dividend Through Investment In Youth.”
The 28TH Ordinary Session of the AU Summit opens in Addis Ababa against the backdrop of renewed commitment for peace and unity in the continent
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 30 January 2017- The 28th Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU), officially opened today at the headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with a strong call for unity to uphold the maintenance of peace and stability in the continent.
