SECTION I: LETTER OF INVITATION

14th September 2016

Dear Applicants,

REF: Call for CVS- Consultancy Services For SAP Vendor Data Clean Up And Maintenance. (AUC/PBFA/382)

1. The African Union Commission (AUC), has undergone significant reforms for at least 5 years. Some of the reforms have largely affected Systems, Structure, Staffing and many other areas. The Directorate of Finance among others has largely devoted its effort and energies in migrating from its legacy systems to SAP platforms. A recent review of the systems has indicated some challenges with regard to how its vendor master data is maintained taking into consideration all its other offices globally. There is an apparent need that the master data and all other related records be cleaned and updated consistent with its current operational environment. The objective of the assignment is to clean up the vendor master data. To achieve the stated objective, AUC wishes to engage the services of three (3) competent individual consultants to work with the Commission to deliver on this objective.

2. The AUC now invites interested Individual Consultants to submit CVs for the assignment as per attached Terms of Reference (TORS). AUC policy requires consultants to provide professional, objective, and impartial advice, and at all times hold the Client’s interests paramount, without any consideration for future work, and strictly avoid conflicts with other assignments or their own interests.

3. A Consultant will be selected under a time based contract and AUC shall pay each Consultant an amount not exceeding US $4500 (Four thousand and five hundred dollars) per month. The period of implementation is not expected to exceed 6 calendar months.
The consultant with the highest Technical Score will be invited for negotiations on the fees. The pass mark for CVs Shall be 70%

4. CVs with a detailed work plan must be delivered by e-mail to Tender@africa-union.org or in hard copy to The Chairperson, Tender Board, African Union Commission, Building C, 3rd floor, TENDER BOX, Roosevelt Street, P. O. Box 3243, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

5. The title of the Procurement must appear as subject of e-mail submissions or on the envelope for hard copy submissions.

6. The Deadline for submission of CVs is 21st September 2018 at 15:00 hours Addis Ababa Time. Late applications will not be considered.
