Objective

The main objective of conference is to showcase export opportunities in Africa, and building capacity among exporters on Exporting in Africa. More specifically, the conference seeks to address the following:

  1. Market opportunities under the IATF;
  2. Capacity building on the ATO;
  3. Updates on the AfCFTA, Non-Tariff Barriers, and Standards;
  4. Capacity building on Customs cooperation under the AfCFTA;
  5. Digital inclusion in Africa
  6. Digital infrastructure gaps in Africa
  7. Digital Capacity building;
  8. Updates on the AfCFTA, Protocol on Digital Trade;
  9. Consumer Protection and Cybersecurity in Africa;
  10. Postal Sector and Logistics in a Digital Economy
  11. Data Governance and Digital Economy Development in Africa
  12. Capacity building on designing export supply contracts that are resilient to shocks, such as COVID; and
  13. Increase awareness on the African Integration Agenda

Participants: African Union Member States, Regional Economic Communities (RECs), AU Specialized Institutions, Institutions from the UN System, and other Development Cooperating Partners.
