WHAT: INFORAFRICA FESTIVAL

WHEN: Sunday, 14th June , 2020

TIME: 7pm (CAT), 5pm (GMT) & 6pm (GMT+1)

WHERE: Sound City DSTV channel 327, Go TV 75 and the You-tube Sound City page.

WHO: African Union Commission (AUC) and the #INFORAFRICA Alliance against the corona virus.

WHY: The festival will use the voices of influencers to disseminate fact-based health messages across Africa, and raise relief for the continent’s most vulnerable communities. Funds received by the African Union will go towards the Union’s COVID19 Response Fund.

The African Union COVID19 Response Fund was set up to
· Support the procurement and distribution of essential COVID-19 medical equipment and supplies and mobilize rapid response by Member States.
· Mitigate the social, economic and humanitarian impact of COVID-19 in all African countries.
· Further boost the capacity of Africa CDC to support response to public health emergencies across the continent.
