The Chairperson further calls on all political actors to maintain the prevailing positive climate in order to consolidate the peace gains, and to resolve any post-elections disputes through peaceful means as provided for within the established national constitutional and legal framework.

The AUEOM, and various other international and domestic observer groups, have testified to the peaceful nature of the Tripartite Elections held on 21 May 2019.
