H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the AU Commission, had a fruitful exchange with H.E. Monday Semaya K. Kumba, Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation of the Republic of South Sudan.

Discussions focused on advancing peace & security in South Sudan, with an emphasis on regional efforts to reinvigorate the implementation of the Revitalised Peace Agreement. The meeting reaffirmed the AU’s commitment to accompanying South Sudan on its path toward a peaceful & inclusive transition.
