Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 4 December 2015: Twenty Senior Technical Experts dealing with ICT policies and regulations from the African Union Commission, Regional Economic Communities and Associations of Regulators will take part in the technical training organized by Huawei at its Headquarters in China for a period of two weeks from 06 to 18 December 2015.

December 4, 2015 – The experts have reiterated the urgent need for Africa to fast track the process of harmonizing medicines regulation on the Continent to guarantee access to quality medicines. The issue was front and center in the two-day event that brought together experts of the pharmaceutical sector in the framework of the 4th African Medicines Regulatory Conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
“Quality medicines will save African lives,” say experts
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. December 2, 2015 - Today, Africa bears 25% of the global burden of disease, but less than 2% of the world’s medicines are produced in the continent. Importing medicines and commodities that the African population needs has proven to be unsustainable.
