DECLARATION PRELIMINAIRE

INTRODUCTION

1. Le 6 octobre 2018, les Gabonaises et les Gabonais se sont rendus aux urnes pour élire leurs députés et conseillers départementaux et municipaux. C’est pour la première fois de son histoire que la République Gabonaise organise des élections couplées. Ces élections s’inscrivent dans le prolongement de l’élection présidentielle d’août 2016 et du dialogue politique de 2017.

A Consultative workshop on Promoting Regional Integration in the Control of Tsetse and Trypanosomosis (T&T) in the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) took place on 6-7 August 2018 at Ngonemono Hotel, in Libreville, Gabon. The meeting was attended by ECCAS member states, including Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, DRC and Chad. In addition, three staff members from the AU-PATTEC coordination office, a consultant from ECCAS, a non-tsetse transmitted trypanosomosis expert and the Livestock Director of CEBEVIRHA attended the meeting.
