A media briefing session on the 13th November 2015
A visit to a PIDA site on 14th November 2015
Attendance at all open sessions of the meeting
Possible interviews with the drivers of infrastructure in Africa
A media conference on the closing day of the meeting on 18th November 2015
Theme: “Accelerating Infrastructure Implementation for Africa’s Integration”

Objectives:- PIDA week will help create synergies among the different PIDA related meetings such as the Steering Committee, the Council for Infrastructure Development , the Infrastructure Consortium for Africa meetings, the NEPAD IPPF meeting, the Continental Business Network meeting etc. that have so far been organized separately,
Background: PIDA is a continental initiative aimed at addressing the infrastructure deficit that is severely hampering Africa’s competitiveness in the world market. It provides a common framework for African stakeholders to build the infrastructure necessary to increase intra-African trade and thus boost socio-economic development in the continent.
