About the 4th STC on Finance Monetary Affairs, Economic Planning and Integration. The African Union Commission Specialised Technical Committees (STC) on Finance, Monetary Affairs, Economic Planning and Integration is the leading Conference for African ministers responsible for finance, economy, planning, integration and economic development, and central bank governors, to discuss matters about the development of Africa. Postponement of the 4th STC on Finance, Monetary Affairs, Economic Planning and Integration

Following the growing global concerns on the spread of the Coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19), jointly, the African Union Commission and the Republic of Ghana, have agreed to postpone, until further notice, the upcoming 4th STC on Finance, Monetary Affairs, Economic Planning and Integration, scheduled to be held from the 9th to 14th March, 2020, in Accra, Ghana.

​The Ministerial STC and its related high-level side events, will be reconvened at a later date. Based on this outcome, the African Union Commission advices participants who had planned to attend the STC, to proceed with making cancellations of the travel arrangements. Updates will be provided and communicated, on when the STC will be reconvened.

Africa CDC is holding weekly updates with national public health institutes in Member States and has formed working groups for high priority areas of coronavirus control, including: surveillance; laboratory diagnosis; infection prevention and control; clinical care; and risk communication.
