The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, this morning received the credentials of H.E. Afkar Nadhim Ali Al Farsi, Chargé d’Affaires & Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman to Ethiopia and Permanent Observer to the African Union.
The Chairperson welcomed Ambassador Al Farsi & commended the longstanding historical & cultural ties between Africa & Oman, rooted in people-to-people relations.
The Chairperson & Amb. Al Farsi reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen cooperation in pursuit of mutual interests.
