Zambia

The African Union Commission (AUC), through its Pan African Institute for Education for Development (AU-IPED), in partnership with the Association for Educational Assessment in Africa (AEAA), the Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report, the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS), and the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA), is advancing the validation of a continent-wide framework aimed at transforming how learning outcomes are measured and addressed across African Union (AU) Member States.

The African Union Commission (AUC), in collaboration with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) Secretariat, the Government of Zambia and key regional and international partners, successfully convened the 13th Industry Stakeholders’ Retreat in Lusaka, Zambia.

The African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) and the Agriculture and Rural Development Directorate of the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Blue Economy and Sustainable Environment  of the African Union Commission convened the Permanent Secretaries of Agriculture Leadership Dialogue in Lusaka Zambia from 10-12 April 2025.
