The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, met this afternoon with H.E. Ali Mohamed Omar, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of #Somalia, on the margins of the Tana High-Level Forum in Addis Ababa.

They exchanged views on regional peace & security. Minister Omar appreciated the AU’s continued support for Somalia’s stabilisation efforts.

The Chairperson commended Somalia’s constructive role on the UN Security Council as part of the A3 in advancing Africa’s common positions.
