Nairobi, Kenya – 24 April 2017. The African Union Commission is organizing the Second Meeting of the Continental Free Trade Area (CFTA) Technical Working Groups from 24 April to 5 May 2017 in Nairobi. The objectives of the Meeting are amongst others, to provide inputs to the relevant annexes and appendices of the draft CFTA Agreement for the Negotiating Forum’s consideration. It is also to provide the experts with an overview of the draft legal text and appendices which will be used as inputs to the negotiations.

African Union Commission Launches Revamped Library Website

Addis Ababa Ethiopia, 17 April 2017-The Knowledge Management division of the Strategic Policy Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Resource Mobilization (SPPMERM) directorate launched on 13th April, 2017, during the Staff Association’s General Assembly meeting, a Library’s revamped website, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Thomas Kwasi Quartey, Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Commissioners, Directors, and over 400 staff of the Commission.
