Four new Ambassadors present Credentials to AU Commission Chairperson

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – 30 March 2016: Four new Ambassadors to the Federal Republic of Ethiopia and Permanent Representatives to the African Union have presented their letters of Credence to the African Union (AU) Commission Chairperson, H.E. Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma. The new Permanent Representatives included three AU Member States (Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo and Mauritania) and one non-AU Member State; Chile. They submitted their letters to Dr. Dlamini Zuma on Wednesday, 30 March 2016, at the AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

APRM CEO briefs AU Commission Chairperson on its revitalization

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – 29 March 2016: The Chief Executive Officer of the APRM Secretariat, Prof. Eddie Maloka, has briefed the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), H.E. Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma on the ongoing revitalization of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM).

The APRM CEO was paying his first courtesy visit to the AU Commission two months into his new assignment, on the margins of an Experts Group meeting under the theme: “Revitalization of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM): Strategizing, Planning, and Developing Improved Review Methodologies.”
