Tunisia Ambassador Bids Farewell to the African Union
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 4 September 2018- The outgoing Tunisia Ambassador today bade farewell to the African Union after serving his term as a Permanent Representative to the Union.
H.E. Sahbi Khalfallah, Ambassador of Tunisia to Ethiopia, paid his farewell courtesy calls to H.E Mrs. Minata Cessouma, Commissioner for Political Affairs, at the Union’s headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The AU makes oral submission before the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court
The Hague, 10 September 2018 – The Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court (“ICC”) commenced hearing of oral submissions in the “Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s Appeal against the Decision under Article 87(7) of the Rome Statute on the Non-Compliance by Jordan with the request by the Court for the Arrest and Surrender of Omar Al-Bashir”.
African Union Hosts the Pan African University Senate Meeting
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 7 September, 2018 - Following its first meeting held from 3-4 May 2017 at African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the Senate of the Pan African University, which represents the statutory body of the University in charge of academic affairs and research, held its second meeting from 3-4 September 2018, during a workshop for the validation of the Pan African University Research and Publication Policy. The meeting was aimed at reviewing the PAU development policy and more specifically the PAU Research and Publication Policy.
