Africa CDC Weekly Press Briefing on the response to public health emergencies in Africa
INVITATION TO REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MEDIA
OVERVIEW: This briefing is a weekly engagement of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) with the media to share critical updates on the current state of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic and other public health emergencies in Africa.
Thursday’s briefing will highlighting Africa CDC’s support and guidance being provided to Member States for adequate preparedness and response to ongoing health crises on the continent; the regular updates on the epidemiological situation of COVID-19, the ongoing Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) outbreak in Uganda and other health emergencies will also be provided.
