African Union Peace and Security Council Meeting at The Level of Heads of State and Government on Situations in Sudan and in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo
What: The African Union Peace and Security Council Meeting on Updated Briefing on the Situation in the Republic of Sudan and on the Situation in Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
When: 14 February 2025:
- Opening: 1800 Hrs EAT
- Press Briefing: 2100 Hrs EAT
Where: Plenary Hall, Old Conference Building, African Union HQ
Who: The meeting will be chaired by H. E. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and Chairperson of the AU PSC for February 2025. Participants will include Members of the AU PSC, concerned Member States, Senior Officials from the AU Commission, representatives of the concerned Regional Economic Communities/Regional Mechanisms, the League of Arab States, and the United Nations.
Media representatives are invited to cover the opening and closing session of the meeting.
