WHAT: The African Union Commission (AUC), in collaboration with the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) will host the Second Africa Climate Summit (ACS2) from 8-10 September 2025, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Thus, the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development Blue Economy and Sustainable Environment of the African Union Commission and the Ministry of Planning and Development of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia organised a joint media briefing in line with the upcoming ACS2 Summit.

WHO: The media briefing will jointly be addressed by H.E Mosses Vilakati, Commissioner for Agriculture, Rural Development, Blue Economy and Sustainable Environment, at the AUC, and H.E Dr. Fitsum Assefa, Minister for the Ministry of Planning and Development at the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
