Distinguished ladies and gentlemen,
I am pleased the deliver the opening remarks on behalf of Oliver Chinganya, the Director of the African Centre for Statistics, who couldn't travel here because of several commitments as the current OIC of the Commission.
The African Union Commission (AUC) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) launched new guidelines for scaling up investments in agri-food systems for youth in Africa, during the 32nd Session of the FAO Regional Conference for Africa (ARC32).
Malabo, Equatorial Guinea: The Prime Minister H.E. Francisco Pascual Eyegue Obama Asue on behalf of the President of the Democratic Republic of Equatorial Guinea, has presided over the opening of the 2019 and the 11th African Taskforce on Food and Nutrition Development (ATFFND). The 11th ATFFND is organized by the Department of Social Affairs (DSA) in collaboration with the Government of Equatorial Guinea.

تنظم إدارة الشؤون الاقتصادية بمفوضية الاتحاد الافريقي ، المؤتمر الخامس للاقتصاديين الأفريقيين الذي يعقد في الفترة من 1 إلى 4 نوفمبر 2017 في مالابو، غينيا الاستوائية، تحت شعار "النمو والعمالة وعدم المساواة". وكان الدافع وراء اختيار هذا الشعار وجود العديد من المسائل العالقة بشأن مستوى ونوعية النمو اللازمين لخلق فرص العمل والحد من أوجه عدم المساواة في البلدان وبين الاقاليم في أفريقيا.
