Announcement Of The 33rd Ordinary Session The African Union Summit

The 33rd Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU) will take place from 21 January to 10 February 2020, under the theme “Silencing the Guns: Creating Conducive Conditions for Africa’s Development”.
The Summit will be held at the AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as follows:

  • 21 – 22 January 2020: 39th Ordinary Session of the Permanent Representatives’ Committee (PRC).
  • 6 – 7 February 2020: 36th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council (Ministerial)
  • 9 – 10 February 2020: 33rd Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union
