In December 2019, The African Peer Review Mechanism received financing from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant towards the procurement of an experienced Disaster Management National Consultant to conduct Targeted Review on the theme, “Health Governance and Covid-19 Response in The Republic of Sierra Leone

OBJECTIVES

The objective of the Targeted Review is to identify key issues in “Health Governance and Covid- 19 Response in the Republic of Sierra Leone” as a way for the country to strengthen its local health systems and primary health care. In other words, the Targeted Review Report will bring out government efforts to manage any disease/infection outbreak, health challenges or disaster management challenges and give recommendations, where possible for improvement of Public Health Management & Disaster Management for the people of Sierra Leone

The Consultant shall follow and be guided by the specific objectives contained within the Socioeconomic Development (SED), Economic Governance and Management (EGM), Corporate Governance (CG), and Democracy and Political Governance (DPG)
The duration of the assignment is estimated as thirty (30) days including field days, starting September,2020
