Harare, Zimbabwe-03 December 2015- African leaders and parliaments gathering in Harare Tuesday to mark the World AIDS Day called for sustained leadership to fast track current efforts to end AIDS by 2030. This year the continental commemorations were celebrated under the theme “sustaining visionary leadership to end AIDS by 2030” during the flagship International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (ICASA).

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – 1 December 2015: The Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, has congratulated the Transition Government and the people of Burkina Faso for holding historic, smooth and peaceful presidential and legislative elections on 29 November 2015, in Burkina Faso, bringing to an end the transition which started in November 2014.

Addis Ababa, 01 December 2015: The African Union Commission today 1st December 2015 joined the International Community, to celebrate the 2015 edition of the World AIDS Day in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Commission took advantage of the commemoration to reiterate its commitment to the “Getting to Zero” objective on the African continent.
