The Commission of the African Union (AU) is holding the 2nd Extraordinary Meeting of the Specialized Technical Committee on Defense, Safety and Security (STCDSS) from 13-15 January 2016. The Meeting was preceded by the 2nd Extraordinary Meeting of Experts on 13 January 2016, followed by Meeting of Chiefs of Defense Staff, Heads of Safety and Security Services on 14 January 2016. The Commission, today, will convene a Meeting of Ministers of Defence, Safety and Security.
