Joint Statement on the International Day of Democracy
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 15 September 2016: Today, we mark the International Day of Democracy on the theme “Democracy and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. We re-affirm our commitment, particularly, to the fulfilment of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Sixteen, to among others things develop effective, accountable and transparent democratic institutions and ensure responsive, inclusive, participatory and representative decision-making at all levels.

Technical Training
Technical Training focuses on preparing network engineers to interconnect their respective networks at the envisaged Internet exchange point.
It is an advanced technical, hands-on training that introduce participants to dynamic routing technologies and to related Internet Resources such as IPv4, IPv6 and ASN that enables them to prepare their networks for interconnection to an Internet exchange point.
