African Union Leadership Academy Concludes an Executive Capacity Development Program with the AU Commissioners in Cairo, Egypt
Addis Ababa, 13 August 2018 - The African Union Leadership Academy concluded on 10 August 2018 a five-day executive development program with the Commissioners of the African Union (AU) Commission. The capacity development program took place in Cairo, Egypt from 6th to10th of August 2018.

Cairo, Egypt 9-11 May 2018: The Three Day African Union Private Sector Forum opened in Cairo on Wednesday 9 May 2018. The Forum was organized in collaboration with the Egyptian Business Women Association.
Considering the critical role that the private sector is expected to play in the Africa’s Transformation and implementation of Agenda 2063, in particular its contribution to poverty reduction through investment and employment creation, the AU Commission organizes an annual Forum engaging with private sector players on the continent.

Joint Planning Meeting of ECOSOCC Six Sectorial Clusters
Cairo, Egypt, 18 April 2018,–The Economic, Social and Cultural Council (ECOSOCC), the advisory organ of the African Union, held Joint Planning Meeting for six of its Sectorial Clusters from 16–18 April 2018. The purpose of the meeting was to create a platform for proper planning, provide technical input into the policy and programmes of the African Union Commission and finally to work in synergy with the various AUC Departments.
