Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 27 August 2019: The African Union Commission through the Chief of Staff, Amb. Abdoulaye Diop received and welcomed a delegation from United Arab Emirates represented by Mr. Abdulla Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Director - International Relations, UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, along with Representatives from Abu Dhabi Dialogue (ADD) comprising of Mr. Abdullaziz AlShamsi, Executive Unit of International Organisations and Ms. Alia Ibrahim Mohammad, Head of Abu Dhabi Dialogue Section.

ADDIS ABABA, August 26 – Members of the African Union Permanent Representative Committee, Donors and Partner Agencies have recognized the magnitude of displacement in Africa and reiterated their commitment to finding durable solutions during a quarterly update session on the 2019 African Union theme: ``The Year for Refugees, Returnees and Internally Displaced Persons: Towards Durable Solutions to Forced Displacement in Africa.”

ADDIS ABABA, August 20, 2019. The African Union in collaboration with the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Liaison Office to the AU on 19 August joined countries around the world to mark this Year’s World Humanitarian Day at the African Union Headquarters, Addis Ababa.
