Media Announcement : 6th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union 18th – 21st July 2024 Online Registration for Journalists Now Open

The Information and Communication Directorate (ICD) of the African Union Commission (AUC) hereby announces that the online registration for journalists interested to cover the 6^th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union, Regional Economic Communities and Regional Mechanisms scheduled to take place from 18^th -21^st July 2024 in Accra, the Republic of Ghana has been launched on the AU website.

The meetings are scheduled to take place as follows:

• 18^th – 19^th July 2024: 45^th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council
• 21^st July 2024: 6^th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union,

Regional Economic Communities and Regional

Mechanisms 

A media advisory note explaining the arrangements for media coverage of the Mid-Year Coordination Meeting will be posted soon on the AU website.

Journalists will be able to cover all the open sessions physically and/or through the dedicated virtual link, which will be provided in due course.

A detailed agenda and program of the meetings will be made available soon.
